Learning to relax deeper into the hold

What I learned!
I didn’t only change the lenght of the table but also the announciations. Therefore the app told me every 1min how much time is left. To my surprise I learned today, that I don’t react well to being told the time during my hold. I will definitely not make any rash decisions based on one hold and try it again but today it didn’t work for me at all. During my last hold the 2 minutes left made me rethink what I’m doing here, which is generally something you don’t want. You don’t want to feel stressed or like you need to proof something as this creates an unsafe surrounding.

What I liked!
- the sun rising and sounds of nature from outside the window
- that the table was shorter and I got my coffee earlier 🙂
What I found hard!
- hearing 2 minutes to go when I was already struggling and tried to relax once more 🙂

Tip of the DAY!
Hydration matters more than we might think. Water helps maintain healthy blood volume and circulation. While it won’t magically increase our breath hold, doing the training well hydrated can help us feel more comfortable and relaxed during our holds.
The goal for tomorrow!
- Have a rest day to have energy for the pool training on Wednesday
- I’ll be back with some stretching
