Road to the AIDA World Pool Championships 2026 Budapest
Join our journey to the 2026 AIDA Pool World Championships.

Progress Journal
Realizing that my static could qualify me for the World Championships is one thing—but actually getting there is another.
Training in the pool five times a week over the next few months to build my breath-hold and confidence is a completely different challenge.
Hard Work
Pool Training
For high CO2 exposure, Cold starts for steady, performance, Dry Breathwork, Flexibility, Icebaths for meditation. Hard lifting at Gym for maximum strength, which is useful in long dives, Cardio. Doing it all in between 2 jobs is this what I will call my dedication/ persistance.
Working on different parts of my body! As well as mental calmness is nothing new for me but it doesn’t make it easier.
Setbacks
During my last competition my position in the water was slightly changed due to wearing socks. This combined with slight overpacking caused me to injure the intercostal muscles, making it hard to hold the breath on inhale. Healing therefore took mostly first part in the preparation for the World Championships. Which lead me straight back to the start of technical training.
There were moments I doubted if I could keep going. But the technical training brought small victories. I realized sticking to the basics, has been exactly what I needed.
Persistence
I pushed through self-doubt to find new motivation and keep improving. I love learning new skills and making my training as interesting as possible. If you want to follow my journey make sure to come back or get in touch with me!
Watch me compete!
